The Foresight GC3 Hong Kong is Foresights newest launch monitor and is now available at golfshophongkong.com.  Smaller in size than Foresight’s flagship GCQuad, the GC3 offers very similar features and accuracy for half the price, making it one of the most sought after personal and small business golf launch monitors on the market today.

Foresight GC3 Hong Kong

If you’re wanting to find out the Foresight GC3 Hong Kong price, or wanting to but it in Hong Kong, please contact Golf Shop Hong Kong or WhatsApp 9225 7285.

So who is the Foresight GC3 Hong Kong for?  At just over USD$7000, it’s certainly not aimed at just any golfer.  The Foresight GCQuad is used on tour by many of the world’s leading players and has been the gold standard for indoor golf centers focused on club fitting and golf simulation. One major problem with both the GCQuad and the GC3 used in an indoor golf center for game play is that if you are playing with a mix of right and left handed players, you will need to pick up the launch monitor and change positions every time a different handed player hits a shot. This is a huge deal breaker if you’re planning on using either for game play.

Foresight GC3

If you’re an indoor golf center just doing fitting and letting people practice on it, it’s great and pretty much accepted that the Foresight GC3 or Foresight GCQuad are the best for this purpose. Yes, you can use both with the FSX software, but again, if you’re looking at hiring it out for people to play rounds of golf, this is not the best options. Where the Foresight GC3 Hong Kong shines is in it’s portability. You can easily take this from indoors to the range and set up the app to get very accurate stats. The GC3 doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the Quad, but certainly comes close and the accuracy of the 3 cameras (as opposed to 4 cameras on the GCQuad) is comparable to the GCQuad.

If money is not an issue, I guess the few additional data points that the Foresight GCQuad offers is worth going for, but I think most people would be hard pressed to justify spending more than double the amount for the Quad.  We’ll have a full review of the Foresight GC3 Launch Monitor coming soon.

Where to Buy Foresight GC3 in Hong Kong

In the meantime, if you’re looking to buy the Foresight GC3 in Hong Kong, please get in touch with Golf Shop Hong Kong who’ll put you onto the best distributor (there are more than one distributor of the GC3 in Hong Kong, and one of them we highly recommend you avoid)

Golf Hideaway Golf Lounge was one of the first indoor golf centers to open in Hong Kong so we were excited to go and visit after it’s recent re-launch under new ownership. When you first mention “Quarry Bay” to most expats living on HK Island, they initially perceive that as being a bit out the way. However, I can tell you, Golf Hideaway Golf Lounge is extremely easy to get to and if there’s no travel, a 10 minute drive or taxi ride from central or about 15 minutes on the MTR. There’s 4 different car parks within a few hundred metres so its actually quite convenient and very easy to find.

The center itself hasn’t changed much, there are two Full Swing Golf simulators which are now being used by Tiger Woods, Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, Padraig Harrington to mention a few, so the accuracy of these can not be questioned. A bunch of other “big names” from in and out of the golf industry are using Full Swing Golf simulators including World Golf Hall of Fame, Golf Digest, IBM, Honda and loads more. The simulator area is where golf lessons and general play on the sims takes place, there’s some really comfortable couches at each sim and it’s not too dark as many indoor golf centers are.

In another area of Golf Hideaway Golf Lounge there’s a full lounge and bar. This is ideal for parties, corporate events, team building, meetings, pretty much whatever you can think of, this space can be transformed and with a pool table it’s perfect for parties and those non-golfers. I can imagine many companies just using this space for events and forgetting about the golf, although of course the golf is the attraction to many people and companies. Golf Hideaway Golf Lounge has a number of event packages and and options for a variety of different purposes and budgets so whatever you’re looking for in terms of an event/party, they’ll be able to handle it.

Golf lessons at Golf Hideaway Golf Lounge have already become popular. HKPGA Certified Instructor and Hank Haney Associate Pro Derek Crampton leads the lesson programs and from what we hear, is a bit of a Butch Harmon and very widely respected. His ladies golf programs are booked out months in advance and we secretly talked to quite a number of his students and they all raved about how he had improved their games. The Hong Kong Golf School has also recently moved their HQ to Golf Hideaway so it’s now become quite the teaching Hub of Hong Kong.

Prices start at $300 for one person for one hour on the sim which is very reasonable and they’ve got a membership program which gives you 50% off regular rates. Membership is $750 per month with a free month offered if you sign up for one year, which we did.

Overall Golf Hideaway Golf Lounge is our favourite and top rated indoor golf centre in Hong Kong. The facilities are superb, the simulators excellent, and the service is far (FAR) superior to any other indoor golf centre in Hong Kong. We can highly recommend Golf Hideaway to hold your event, just for a hit of golf with your mates or for a golf lesson. Finally, someone in Hong Kong has got the formula right and the service mentality to back it up. Visit Golf Hideaway Here.

Golf Hideaway, one of Hong Kong’s original indoor golf centers, has reopened and is offering a special free 30 minute trial on their Full Swing Golf simulators for a limited time. Golf Hideaway is conveniently located just off the Island Eastern Corridor in Quarry Bay with plenty of parking available nearby.

Golf Hideaway is now the home of the Hong Kong Golf School, Hong Kong’s premier golf instruction experience. The Hong Kong Golf School at Golf Hideaway is lead by Director of Golf Derek Crampton who offers private golf lessons in Hong Kong as well as group lessons and corporate golf lessons. Derek has quickly developed a reputation as one of Hong Kong’s leading Golf Teaching Professionals and is renowned for improving the games of some of Hong Kong’s most avid golfers.

With many of Hong Kong’s newest indoor golf centers choosing Golfzon golf simulators, Golf Hideaway gas two Full Swing Golf Simulators. Full Swing Golf simulators are used by icons such as Tiger Woods, Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, Padraig Harrington, Patrick Reed. These Hong Kong golf simulators are also used by many of the world’s leading businesses including Audi, IBM, Under Armour, Callaway, Golf Digest, ESPN, Honda and numerous other businesses who recognise these simulators as the best in the world. With play on over 70 of the worlds’ best golf courses including legends such as Pebble Beach, St Andrews and Bay Hill, a driving range mode and real life graphics, these are the best indoor golf simulators in Hong Kong as far as we’re concerned.

Golf Hideaway has perhaps the best corporate event setup out of all the indoor golf centers in Hong Kong. The two golf simulators are located in one area and the lounge areas is ideal for an array of different events including meetings, staff get togethers, client appreciation, corporate events, staff parties, birthday parties, kids parties, sports nights and basically any type of event wanting a mix of business and pleasure and leisure.

Golf Hong Kong 2017

It’s been a while since we’ve posted so thought we’d give you a bit of an update on Golf Hong Kong 2017. If you like indoor golf and playing golf on simulators, there’s good news for you as a number of indoor golf centres have opened in Hong Kong in 2016. One focused on club cutting, one focused on instruction and some others that have popped up just trying to promote indoor golf. Golf Hong Kong 2017 will see how these indoor golf centres do, it’s going to be hard work for them with so many of them open and with very few of them answering any calls to work together to promote their centres. With our portfolio of websites, we pretty much dominate organic search for anything to do with Golf in Hong Kong and between our sites, we have the most monthly visitors to our Golf Hong Kong 2017 websites so it’s pretty surprising to see basically none of these indoor golf centres even reply to an email.

Our sister site, golflessonshongkong.com still sees daily inquiries for people wanting to take golf lessons in Hong Kong so there’s still people interested in taking up golf, even with the lack of golf courses in Hong Kong. Do people really want to play indoor golf over the “real” thing? Only time will tell. Golf Hong Kong 2017 on the instruction side has seen a tough year for many Golf Pro’s in Hong Kong, and the days of Pro’s earning 150,000-200,000+ a month are long gone.

On the equipment side of Golf Hong Kong 2017, we didn’t see so many golf shops in Hong Kong close down, probably because all the struggling ones had closed already in 2015. Our sister site golfshophongkong.com still sees inquiries coming in for various golf clubs and equipment, but nothing like it did 4-5 years ago. On the club fitting and golf shafts in Hong Kong scene, we still get interest via Tour Spin Golf, despite not having updated the site for well over a year, but that’s a very niche market.

As for us, we played about 3 rounds of golf in 2016 and don’t plan on playing anymore than that in 2017 unless something changes. We may visit a few of these indoor golf centres in Hong Kong that have opened up but with their seemingly lack of interest to attract new customers, we’re not expecting anything great and predict at least half of them will be closed within a few years. Expect Golf Hong Kong 2017 to be much of the same as 2016, nothing too much new, a few closures here and there, and we do know of one golf centre reopening under different ownership that we expect to do well as they understand the concept of marketing and are open to partnerships and new marketing initiatives that will help them grow. Stay tuned for more info on this soon.  If you know of any new places opening up or any new developments for Golf Hong Kong 2017, let us know.

Today resident Blogger Lars Reinstein talks about indoor golf hong kong.  Over the last half decade indoor golf Hong Kong has become increasingly popular due the closing of two of Hong Kong’s two most popular driving ranges (Asia Golf and City Golf).  I personally believe it’s also become popular due the fact that Hong Kong is either stiffling hot or raining. Or at least it seems that way to me lately!  Indoor golf Hong Kong is for many golfers in Hong Kong the only way to experience golf in Hong Kong.  Let’s explore all the places to play indoor golf Hong Kong.

Firstly, perhaps the most famous indoor golf Hong Kong was City Links Golf Lounge which was located on the 10th Floor of the Centrium Building above Dragon-i.  This indoor golf Hong Kong facility had 4 golf golf simulators and a bar making it popular for both serious golfers and casual punters wanting to get a bit of a Chardonnay Sway on while teeing it high to make it fly.  Unfortunately City Links Golf Lounge closed down and is no longer the best golf simulator indoor golf Hong Kong.

So what Indoor golf Hong Kong Centers are now open for golfers wanting to play golf in Hong Kong?  We have Golf Hideaway in Quarry Bay Indoor golf Hong Kong.  This was actually around before City Links Golf Lounge and has three golf simulators in Hong Kong and a really cool lounge with a pool table. Unfortunately because of it’s location, it doesn’t attract too much of the expat crown in Central, but with no traffic, you can reach this place in 5-10 minutes from Central. Just head up on the highway and take the Quarry bay exit, turn right after the second traffic light and you’re there. There’s parking very nearby, but cross your fingers as it’s not that big.  Even it it’s full, there’s another parking garage within 5 minutes walk.  Golf Hideaway Indoor golf Hong Kong is only open weekends by special request so book in advance if you plan on playing Indoor golf Hong Kong during the holidays.

Shortly after Asia Golf Driving Range closed down, someone had plans for Indoor golf Hong Kong and opened up a very large Indoor golf Hong Kong center in Cheung Sha Wan.  Green Live is huge and have gone all in betting that Indoor golf Hong Kong is going to become an industry with investments in Golfzon golf simulators and another location in Kwun Tong.  Look out for a review of Green Live HK at Golf in Hong Kong real soon.

The most central place for Indoor golf Hong Kong is, not surprisingly, a one-simulator facility in Central on the same street as City Links Golf Lounge once was.  It’s further down the hill so you only get half covered in sweat walking up the hill in the middle of summer.  If you’re looking to hit some balls during lunchtime and work in Central this is the ideal place to play Indoor golf Hong Kong and if you’ve had a stressful day, what better way to head on over to this Indoor golf Hong Kong and release some tension. What’s the name of this Indoor golf Hong Kong center?  Well, we’ll be reviewing it soon so check back real soon.  To find out now, please contact us. You can visit tourspingolf.com and use the contact details on their website.
